MNL, PH based graphic designer
before anything else, i would like to clarify why you are here and why you are doing here. you could be a friend of mine or an acquaintance. you could have stumbled to this site by accident or you could be a prospective employer whom i've asked to view this site in place of a printed portfolio. if you are the last one then here are 2 reasons why, number 1 reason is environmental. there is a large chance that if i bring and leave a printed portfolio in your care and i do not secure a job from your company, that printed portfolio will not be returned to me and will end up torn and in the garbage can. think of how many trees were needed to be cut down just to produce that portfolio. also, there's already too much waste material going around and i don't want to indirectly add anymore to it and i haven't even touched on the matter of dyes/inks used. there's too much junk already on this planet that i think even my great grandkids will inherit them. number 2 is economical reason. again, if i don't end up with you, my portfolio will not be returned and that's Php100 (more or less) down the drain. i'm not rich, i don't have my own printer and if i do have, i don't want to present something to you that was printed in Fast or Draft Setting (because i'm trying to lengthen the lifespan of the ink). that's not me. when i present something, i want to present the best. i hope i clear this up and i really hope you understand. and without further adieu...
i am an analogue soul in a digital world and i have been practicing graphic design for 8 years. i am trained in the traditional way in the field of art and design. having been at that transitional phase when traditionally trained artists and designers were starting to go digital.
